Plot Summary
A story taking after Archer, a man tormented by his roots. With a solid survival sense, he has made himself a key player in the matter of contention jewels. Political distress is uncontrolled in Sierra Leone as individuals battle tooth for tooth. After gathering Solomon, and the delightful Maddy, Archer's life changes everlastingly as he is given an opportunity to make peace with the war around him.
In 1999, in Sierra Leone, the angler Solomon Vandy dreams on the day that his young child Dia Vandy will turn into a specialist. His fantasies are smashed when the agitators attack his town and capture him to work in the precious stone mines. Solomon discovers an immense pink jewel keeping in mind concealing it, the commandant of the renegades sees, yet the revolutionaries are assaulted and Salomon is captured by the administration armed force. Set against the scenery of common war and turmoil in 1990's Sierra Leone Blood Diamond is the story of Danny Archer - an ex hired soldier from Zimbabwe - and Solomon Vandy - a Mende angler.
